Necessary hardware for using kodi: is it enough?

I have a Samsung smart TV and an Nvidia ShieldTV box connected from my router to my TV via ethernet cable.
That's it, no cable box. Is that all I need in order to use Kodi?

Yes. Shield can be hardwired to your router/modem or via wifi. The TV is connected to the shield via HDMI.
