According to IGN, Nolan said in an interview with ICG MAGAZINE that the new film Tenet uses very few VFX special effects shots, which may be less than most romantic comedies. According to estimates by editor Jennifer Lame, there may be less than 300 shots of VFX special effects shots in the fixed-cut version. This is very low for Nolan, who loves to use live effects.

Tenet may have fewer VFX special effects shots than romantic comedies

According to Collider, the number of special effects shots in Tenet is lower than Batman Begins (620 VFX shot), Inception (500 VFX shot) and The Dark Knight Rises (450 VFX shot).

Nolan's Tenet movie reviews: super, many reversals, best after Inception

Recently, some European countries have shown the movie Tenet to the media. The two reporters who watched the film gave Worldofreel their impressions, saying that Tenet is Nolan's best film after Inception, and there are many reversals.

Nolan's Tenet movie reviews

The reporter commented that Tenet is obviously a movie prepared for Nolan’s fans. They will love every minute of this movie. Tenet is Nolan’s best movie since Inception. There are too many twists and turns, its story is like a puzzle, and it also has a lot of action scenes. 150 minutes passed all at once. This is a very complicated time-travel movie. If Inception is about dreams, then Tenet is about reversing time and correcting past mistakes. The shooting location is also amazing, including shots in many countries.

Nolan's Tenet movie reviews

The second reporter commented that Tenet is much better than Inception and Interstellar because:
a) there is not much theoretical explanation (exposition)
b) the actors have great acting skills
c) the plot and the reverse design is actually not that complicated, and you can follow the story of the movie without losing your way.
Like some of Nolan's other movies, Tenet is related to time and destiny, but it is expressed in a fresher and more concise way. The action scene is very good, there is almost no extra and excessive movements.
