Even LG and Samsung have serious display issues. LG with just any Oled smartphone display and Samsung with high refresh rate Amoled ones.

So does that mean LG and Samsung too suck at TVs?

Funnily enough they do.

Samsung have awful HDMI handshake issues with devices alongside sub par motion handling, not to mention the horrific "panel lottery" associated with Samsung TVs.

LG have aggressive ALB which is considered almost unbearable for people who actually care about picture quality. They also have a pretty much unusable Game Mode in HDR for devices that they've never acknowledged or fixed. They also fake their 4K RGB pixels to be RGBW which allows for fake 4K by increasing white pixels.

So yeah, they suck a lot of the time.

Sony all the way!
