I am making are making a home theatre for my friend and my friend has decided to fit a 120" inch screen in 9.5' wide room, thus the sides of room are only 2" from the screen and the ceiling is about a 1', the projecrtor is a 400$ one with around 1200 lumens thus not very bright, we dont need to fit any speakers as he plans to mostly listen on headphones or a soundbar, however he is open to covering up the walls to prevent reflections as its currently light blue
What material should we cover the walls with, black matte paint or is there any fabric that is good for such purposes ?, is it better to save up money on https://omegle.onl/ vshare screen and get 100" screen?
also theoretically which would look better, 100" screen with 1' gap on sides with light wall or 120' with only 2" gap but dark or even black walls/ fabric
do those 3" velevet black borders on screen help if we plan to mount it so close to the wall, or is edgeless fine ?
