Samsung launches First OLED TVs in India: Locally Made From India

Samsung is re-entering the OLED TV space in 2022 by releasing TVs with QD-OLED panels, with the second generation models S90C and S95 having been released earlier this year.

These latest TVs have been launched in India and are sold in models that are locally manufactured in the region.

The Samsung S90C and S95C QD-OLED TVs are available in 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch sizes, priced from INR 169,990, and come with a 2-year warranty.
These new Samsung OLED TVs offer 4K resolution and up to 144Hz refresh rate (using ALLM), no Dolby Vision support, HDR10, HDR10+, HLG and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.

Samsung's new OLED TVs offer 1500 nits of peak brightness and come with a solar-powered remote control that supports some important connectivity options such as HDMI 2.1, USB, optical, Ethernet, WiFi and Bluetooth, as well as Miracast and Apple AirPlay.

Samsung's new OLED TVs come pre-installed run Tizen OS, have streaming apps and more, and the Samsung S90C TV comes with 40W speakers, while the S95C comes with 70W speakers.
