Samsung S95C vs. Samsung S90C: Design

Samsung S95C QD-OLED, as the successor to S95B, has also made innovations and upgrades in the exterior design, adding a larger size of 77 inches, which is available in 55", 65", and 77" sizes.

Compared to the 2022 QD-OLED, the S95C has a thinner panel, just 10mm, which will make the TV look incredible. The TV supports wall-mounted and does not have any protrusion from the back of the panel, so it can be flush with the wall. Another upgrade to the S95C is the One Connect box, through which all connections will pass without having to connect various cables to the back of the TV, so cable management becomes simpler and more efficient. This also gives a more aesthetic advantage to the appearance of the family entertainment center.

If you choose to place the TV on furniture, the stand in the center of the panel will support the TV firmly.

Unlike the S95C, the other QD-OLED S90C does not have a One Connect box, so the S95C is superior in overall aesthetics of the appearance. In terms of size options, the S90C also offers 55", 65", and 77" options.

Samsung S95C vs. Samsung S90C: Picture Quality

Other QD-OLED and WOLED TVs will be released in 2023, such as the LG G3 with MLA OLED technology (see LG G3 TV Review), which will be 70 percent brighter than last year's models. These models will be serious competitors to Samsung's S95C, so their actual brightness performance will be important.

The Samsung S95C TV offers unmatched brightness, and the new panel also reduces power consumption by 25 percent.

It's hard to tell the difference in picture quality between the S90C and the S95C from the specs. What is clear, however, is that Samsung's 2023 QD-OLED will increase the brightness of the TV panel as a whole, even if some of the improvements in picture quality are hard to see with the naked eye.

Samsung S95C vs. Samsung S90C: Sound

Dolby Atmos.jpg

Both the Samsung S95C and S90C series are equipped with Dolby Atmos-enabled speaker systems, but the S90C's speaker system is not as advanced as the S95C's. The S90C is equipped with 2.2.2 60W speakers, while the S95C has 4.2.2ch 70W speakers, an upgrade to last year's 2.2.2ch. This large speaker is powerful enough to provide sound, but of course, if you want better sound, a quality soundbar for your TV is a better choice.
