South Korea's yonhap news agency reported Sunday that samsung electronics co. Ltd. said its QLED TVS had passed the evaluation of No Photobiolgical LED Haard (No photobiolary LED Haard) by the U.S. Safety certification agency UL on 30 last month, and the Safety for Eyes certification from the German certification agency VDE on 21 this month.
Samsung QLED TV has been successively certified by American and German institutions for visual protection and safety
It is reported that both the us and Germany organizations have granted samsung QLED TVS blue, ultraviolet and infrared light with the highest safety level of "Hazard Exempt" certification.
Samsung electronics said its QLED 8K (Q900T) and QLED 4K (Q90T) TVS, launched earlier this year, were the first to receive the highest rating for three types of light.
"Samsung QLED is dedicated to protecting the eyesight of consumers," said choe ryong hoon, vice President of samsung's video display business division. Going forward, [samsung] will continue to launch products that take care of consumers' health."
