SONY officially released the HT-A5000 soundbar on Sept. 9. This product is suitable for home audio-visual purposes, with 5.1.2 channels, compatible with Dolby panoramic sound, DTS:X and other functions. Price at $899.99.
SONY A5000 speakers are powered by SONY's own Vertical Surround Engine. The technology expands the concept of surround sound further by using speakers that sound vertically up, allowing audio localization in vertical Spaces. The speakers feature an S-Force PRO front surround sound unit that, combined with SONY's digital sound field processing technology, enables a huge, immersive horizontal sound field with just one bar speaker.
SONY HT-A5000 features DSEE Extreme technology, which automatically restores high-frequency details lost in highly compressed audio signals using AI technology for better results for users. The product supports 360 immersive sound and is compatible with Spotify Connect, Chromecast, Airplay 2, Bluetooth and WiFi, allowing users to stream music from multiple streaming platforms.
