At CES 2024, TCL showcased its latest innovation in television technology with the introduction of the QM891G model, a remarkable 115-inch TV featuring a state-of-the-art mini-LED panel boasting an impressive 20,000 independent backlight zones and a peak brightness of 5000 nits.

The QM891 is a feature-rich television, equipped with a 120Hz QLED display (increasing to 144Hz with Variable Refresh Rate), AMD FreeSync Premium, anti-glare screen coating, an integrated 6.2.2-channel Dolby Atmos speaker system (with upward-firing speakers), and an ATSC 3.0 tuner for next-generation broadcast television.

One of the standout features of the QM891 is its 20,000 independent backlight zones, delivering exceptional contrast capabilities. TCL claims a peak brightness of 5000 nits for the screen, surpassing the previous standard and achieving a brightness level 2.5 times greater than any television in history.

TCL emphasizes that the new TV is powered by the AIPQ Ultra processor and incorporates quantum dot technology, covering an impressive 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. This ensures a vibrant and accurate color reproduction, contributing to an immersive viewing experience.
