SONY SRS-XB23: this is the most portable of the three SONY stereos released this time. It costs $99.99, has 12 hours of battery life, and supports a usb-c charging port.

It supports SONY's Party Connect mode and can support up to 100 sound combinations, but unfortunately is not backward compatible with pre-2020 models.

The bottom USES a new side-blown passive radiator. These vents are combined with a new speaker unit that SONY calls x-balanced. It has a non-circular diaphragm to reduce actuator offset, reduce distortion, and increase sound pressure overall.

In addition to the IP67's waterproof and dust-proof features, the new product in 2020 will also have rust-proof features. While this may sound odd, it means you can get XB23 into saltwater, like the sea, without worrying about it corroding. SONY will offer five colors: black, blue, red, taupe and green.

SONY SRS-XB23: larger in size than the XB23, 20% larger than last year's XB32 and looking more mature. The XB33 does away with flashing lights and instead has rounded lighting along the edges and around the drive. They can flash in sync with the music.

Like the XB23, its IP67 is waterproof, dust-proof, rust-proof and shock-proof. It supports usb-c port charging and Party Connect, but has a battery life of up to 24 hours. You can also use the XB33 as A portable power source for your phone or other small device, charging it via A USB type-a port.

The biggest change is in the driver unit. Last year the regular round drive unit was gone, replaced by an oval drive unit like the XB23. That means more clarity, more clarity, more bass and more volume.

The SONY XB33 will come in black, blue, red and taupe. It is available for pre-order for $149.99. The XB43 is available for pre-order at $249.99. It will be available in black, blue and taupe.

SONY SRS-XB43 - subwoofer: it's the biggest of the three. The XB43 is 30% bigger than its predecessor and now has a boxy design. Instead of passive cooling, SONY has two loudspeakers in side grilles.
