The Vizio MQ6-K Series has a simple design and the TV has a thin bezel that does not distract the viewer too much. The Vizio MQX Series has a very impressive peak brightness of 1000 nits. So it can resist a lot of glare in environments with plenty of ambient light. The Vizio M6 Series, on the other hand, is not as bright, and it is not bright enough to resist glare in rooms with a lot of ambient light. While you can make it brighter by adjusting the TV's picture mode, the image loses its accuracy.

The Vizio MQX Series has a good contrast ratio and features local dimming to further enhance the contrast and deepen the black level. It features a FALD backlight with up to 32 dimming zones for more precise LED control.

The Vizio MQ6-K Series 2023 does not have a local dimming function, so it cannot further improve contrast as the MQX does. However, it has a very high native contrast ratio and can render accurate highlights and deep blacks brilliantly for watching movies or TV shows in a dark room.

Both series support HDR formats including HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision. However, the Vizio MQ6-K Series cannot provide the same satisfying HDR experience as the MQX Series because of its poor HDR brightness.

As LCD TVs, both TVs have narrow viewing angles, which means that image quality is significantly degraded when you look off-center on the screen.
