Why life spans of a same mode projectors are different? I believe a lot of projector users have this question. So I concluded several aspects that may influence life spans of projectors and give some suggestion on how to increase projectors life spans.
1. Exterior damage
Some projectors are careless and sometimes collisons of peojectors happened. Actually many of the projector's internal components are fragile, a collision is likely to cause damage.
Suggestion: If you want to increase your projector life span. Protect it well first. You can use projection bracket to prevent unnecessary bumping.
2. Switch on/off your projectors too frequently
Everytime we turn of or turn off projectors, there will be a huge current, which will impact the internal components of the projector. Frequent switching may cause damage to the components of the projector and the life span of the projector will naturally be reduced.
Suggestion: After the projector is turned on or off, if you want to turn it off or turn it on again, it is recommended to wait half an hour and switch it again, so as to minimize the damage to the components of the projector.
3. Forget to clean machine dust
If the projector does not get cleaned regularly, which may impact on heat dissipation. Once the internal temperature of the projector is too high, the light and circuit components of the projector will be damaged, finally affecting the life spans of the projector.
Suggestion: If it is convenient, you can clean the filter screen of the projector once a month. After cleaning, you must dry it thoroughly before putting it back.
4. Using projectors for a long time
No matter how good the projector is, its heat dissipation is limited. If the projector is used for a long time, the internal temperature of the projector will continue to rise.
Suggestion: Give your projector a break every time you use it for about 4 hours.
