Apple recently released the iOS 15.2 Developer Preview Beta, which adds App Privacy Reports and more, plus this update redesigns the notification summary on the iPhone and iPad lock screens.

Notification Summary is one of the new features introduced in the first version of iOS 15.

The Notification Summary feature presents a useful summary of notifications received each day at a time of the user's choosing. The summary uses device-side intelligence to sort by priority, placing the most relevant notifications at the top based on how the user interacts with the app. While Notification Summary is a fairly new feature, Apple has redesigned it in iOS 15.2 Beta.

When you expand it, all notifications are displayed inside the main card, rather than separately as they were in iOS 15.0 and iOS 15.1.

iOS 15 brings a huge focus on improving notifications. In addition to notification summaries, the latest version of Apple iOS features a new focus mode, redesigned notifications that add contact photos and larger App icons for easier identification.

As for iOS 15.2, the update adds a new App Privacy Report to the iOS Settings app. There, users can see the data accessed by apps, including third-party apps and Apple's first-party App.
