Many friends have started the Xbox One X and Xbox One S for the 4K effect , but many friends have an error when choosing the 4K UHD resolution, so I will introduce you to the solution. When you select 4K UHD in the display settings, you receive the following error message:
Not available
Your TV supports 4K, but not at 60Hz. You cannot enhance the image quality to 4K, but depending on your TV, you may still be able to play some 4K and HDR content. To view the features supported by your TV, select 4K TV details.
This error occurs when the host detects that your TV supports 4K, but does not support a 60 Hz refresh rate. You may still be able to play 4K content at other refresh rates, but you cannot enhance the quality of the system, games, and applications to 4K.
Solution of fail choosing 4K for Xbox One X and Xbox One S

- Make sure your HDMI cable is plugged into the correct TV port. Some 4K TVs will only support all 4K functions if they are connected to a specific HDMI port. Please refer to your TV manual to determine if there is a special 4K HDMI port, or try a different port on your TV.
- Check the settings menu of your TV. Your TV may have a special mode for controlling the TV refresh rate. Please refer to your TV manual to determine if you need to change your TV settings.
- Make sure you are using the HDMI cable that comes with Xbox One X and Xbox One S.
- Please try another HDMI cable. Your cable must be a high-speed HDMI cable or a certified HDMI Premium cable.
- Use the HDMI cables included with Xbox One X and Xbox One S to plug your TV directly into the console. Some AV receivers or other video equipment may not properly deliver the signal to your TV or host computer. In addition, you will need to use HDMI High Speed or HDMI Premium certified cables between the host and receiver and between the receiver and TV.
