Online auction site Kobay Auction announced that Venus VD-191 was sold for 34.1 million won after 94 bids in an online auction that ended on the 16th. This TV is the first TV product launched in Korea in August 1966 by the predecessor of LG Electronics, Jinxingsha, after fans and refrigerators.

In view of its symbolic significance as Korea's first TV and its historical value in playing an important role in the development of electronic communication technology and industry at that time, the TV was successfully applied for the National Cultural Heritage of Korea in 2013.

When the TV was released in 1966, it was extremely expensive, at 60,000 won, when the average salary of corporate employees was only 12,000 won.
