This year coincides with the 55th anniversary of the establishment of Panasonic Hi-Fi sub-brand Technics. In addition to the SL-1210GAE Limited Edition vinyl turntable that will be released this month, it has recently been announced that its reference stereo amplifier will be available this fall .

Technics issued a press release from its headquarters in Wiesbaden, Germany, saying that the reference model stereo amplifier that has not yet announced the exact model and appearance will be equipped with the latest signal processing technology to cater to the high-resolution audio of the modern Hi-Fi market. At the same time, the new stereo amplifier will also be equipped with an equalization processing circuit for vinyl turntables.

Technics will release a reference stereo amplifier this fall

Technics new stereo amplifier features:

1. Technics brand's first reference-level combined (stereo) amplifier that can handle a variety of high-quality sound sources.

2. The new stereo amplifier has Technics mature digital amplification technology (such as LAPC and JENO-Engine), and integrates the newly developed ADCT (active distortion cancellation technology) to eliminate power level distortion. The newly developed high-speed, low-noise switching power supply (Advanced Speed Silent Power Supply) improves the sound quality by enhancing the load stability of the amplifier. Power devices use high-speed, low-resistance GaN (gallium nitride) materials to improve dynamic response.

3. Phono equalization circuit will use digital technology to obtain more accurate EQ curve, with the world's first calibration function-Crosstalk Canceller (crosstalk cancellation) and Response Optimiser (response optimization), to obtain an accurate equalization curve, improve the turntable and singing The header equalization circuit causes crosstalk due to poor matching and improves the frequency response.

In addition, the new stereo amplifier will also be equipped with a large number of input/output ports, including Phono XLR and USB-B input, which can handle various analog/digital sources and peripheral devices. The high-rigidity chassis has vibration isolation measures developed based on vibration analysis to maintain maximum sound purity. Of course, the dual VU header that Technics is proud of has also been retained.
